Crystal Cruises announced yesterday it has won the Venice Blue Flag Environmental Award for the second year in a row. The award recognizes Crystal's efforts to reduce port emissions by using low sulfur fuel in port. Crystal has a long history of being sensitive to its environmental impact, from using hangers made of recycled materials to non-plastic, reusable laundry bags in staterooms, to its efforts to save lighting and energy consumption on board.
